Clinical Clean NZ strive to provide exceptional healthcare cleaning services to their customers. Our focus is not only housekeeping and daily maintenance of facilities, but also working within infection prevention guidelines to eliminate risk to customers and visitors through improved cleaning practices, regular auditing and thorough schedule recording.
About Us
We are a New Zealand, family owned company with more than 35 years experience across three generations. Our Grandparents, Tom and the late Ilo Schendelaar who passed in 2022, started out in the early 1980’s and created a legendary reputation for exceptional service within the medical facility community of Auckland central, known as T & I Cleaners. Their legacy continues on today through their children and grandchildren who pride themselves in continuing to provide such high standards in healthcare cleaning and keeping the history of their family beginnings alive.
To note, the Covid pandemic, was a significant event in our time. We successfully navigated our way through this period without any of our customers losing faith in our ability to maintain a safe environment, as well as upholding our reputation of being exceptionally reliable.

Our Process
Our processes align with the environmental and cleaning guidelines set by Southern Cross Healthcare, one of the largest private healthcare providers in New Zealand.
We stay updated with current practices by working closely with their IPC (Infection Prevention Coordinators) as well as Quality Control and Facility Managers to ensure we adhere to their policy guidelines.
Our staff receive full training on all technology systems and products that are implemented by our customers.
We are HIGHLY experienced in Hospital Accreditation Audits and have always been commended for our cleaning practises, and our positive staff culture.
